Welcome to this transformative project and multilateral documentary that combines the power of storytelling, renewable energy and global collaboration.
Our vision is to create a powerful and empathetic narrative that bridges the emotional experiences of individuals facing the climate crisis across diverse cultures and regions.
part one
EMOTIONS OF CHANGE
A Documentary
This multilateral documentary aims to capture the feelings and stories of people across Europe regarding the climate crisis. Using a variety of tools, participants will be able to connect to themselves and the topic to discuss the emotions they associate with climate change.
These interviews then will be documented through photographs, audio and video, creating a powerful narrative that highlights the shared human experience in the face of environmental challenges.
All these stories will be shared to a world wide audience through various platforms, like youtube, social media, print and local events.
Connection Cards
Facilitating Deeper Connection With The 7 Basic Emotions
Emotion cards help participants to identify and express their feelings more clearly. This can lead to more honest and personal responses, allowing for a deeper connection between the interviewer and the interviewee.
Encouraging Reflection
By prompting individuals to choose an emotion that resonates with them, the cards encourage participants to reflect on their experiences and feelings related to climate change.
Universal Language
Emotions are a universal language that everyone can relate to, regardless of cultural or linguistic differences. Using emotion cards makes it easier to connect with diverse participants and convey their stories to a broad audience, highlighting the shared human experience in the face of climate change.
part two
The Solar
electric Cargo Bike

The journey will be undertaken on an electric cargo bike equipped with solar panels. This sustainable mode of travel aligns with our commitment to environmental responsibility. The bike, powered by renewable energy, enables to traverse Europe efficiently while minimizing the carbon footprint, showcasing the viability of eco-friendly travel solutions.

Travelling through Europe
and beyond …

Diverse Perspectives
Traveling through Europe allows the documentary to capture a wide range of perspectives from people in different countries, each facing unique climate challenges and opportunities. This diversity enriches the narrative and highlights the universal impact of climate change.
Shared European Values
Europe has a strong tradition of environmental awareness and policy-making. By documenting these efforts across the continent, the project can showcase successful initiatives and inspire other regions to adopt similar approaches.
Raising Global Awareness
The journey through Europe and to eventually the UNFCCC in Baku symbolizes a connection between local actions and global solutions. By culminating at the UNFCCC, the documentary emphasizes the importance of international cooperation in addressing climate change.
Advocacy and Impact
Bringing the stories and emotions gathered during the journey provides a powerful platform to advocate for stronger climate policies. The voices of everyday people, can influence decision-makers and inspire action.
Symbolic Journey
The trip itself, powered by sustainable means, demonstrates the feasibility and importance of eco-friendly travel. The journey makes a strong statement about commitment to sustainability and the urgent need for change.
part three
Mindfulness
for Future
Mindfulness can play an important role in the fight against climate change because it encourages individuals to be more aware and attentive to their thoughts, feelings, and actions.
Every week we post an update about the journey and specific meditation exercises, so that that we stay connected with our community in digital space around the world and on route.

Hi there,
my name is Fridolin Alex Schuster.
… the first time I had an idea such as traveling the world in the most sustainable way, while documenting everything around the issue of climate change was during the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change COP (UNFCCC) in Marrakesh 2016. During the years this idea became a bigger part of my life. And so I am happy that this multilateral project finally becomes “wheels” as this is the first part of the Young Voices of Climate Change initiative: making people realise, that what unites us as human beings regardless of color, sex, culture, young and old are the deep down emotions and the wish to live happily in a sustainable way and a peaceful life.
